Macro Photography
For this project you will utilize the DSLRs to create 5 macro photography images. These photos may be taken both inside and outside of school. Be sure to choose subjects that you can move close to as well as ones that have a lot of detail or texture to them. Clarity is key! Be sure to focus accurately.

Project: Panning
Using your knowledge and experience from class create an image that represents the photographic technique, Panning. You will need to consider the following:
1. Composition: your subject should not be centered.
2. Shutter Speed: Panning is a Blur motion technique and requires a slow shutter speed.
3. Movement: Your subject should be in motion, what movement will they be doing?
4. Focus: Your subject should be very sharp if taken correctly. Be sure to submit an image with a clear and focused subject.

For this assignment you will be light painting in the studio using the light sources you have brought in. You will need to work together to create an interesting image; one person will depress the shutter, one person will flash external lights, and one person will "draw."

For this project you will utilize your knowledge of portrait photography and create 5 images that illustrate the various techniques discussed in class. You will need to consider your classmates as models as well as model for them.
Your project must represent the following portrait techniques:
1. Alter your perspective
2. Make eye contact
3. Look off camera
4. Obscure the figure
5. Introduce a prop

We will be using Adobe Photoshop as a means to Edit and layout your final document.
Your project must contain:
1. An overall connecting theme (visual or content)
2. A minimum of 5 images. (no Max)
3. Edited/stylized
4. Layout (we will be using Photoshop to layout the images)

Objective: Utilizing your knowledge of studio lighting, and compositing. Students will place themselves into a scene acquired from a high resolution online image search.
Requirements:
1. Images must include: A scene, yourself, and a shadow.
2. All photos must be high resolution.
3. A Shadow must be included.
4. Final Image should be uploaded to your website as a Project
